Koh Samui

The once hippy destination but now international resort, Koh Samui Thailand is many a travlers favourite, yet many old skoolers who visited Koh Samui Thailand years ago have found that it has changed quite a bit. Chaweng is the place to go for the night life, there are a number of kicking bars in the Green Mango Square area, which bash out beats till the early hours. But on Koh Samui there are also alternate parts which are a bit quieter such as Lamai Beach, which are also very popular and can also get busy.

There are lots of things to do in the day on Koh Samui. You could get an authentic Thai massage, take Thai cooking lessons and there are an abundance of water sports available from jet ski's to diving and kayaking. There is also live Thai boxing a number of times a week in the Chaweng stadium.

Koh Samui Thailand is located in the golf of Thailand next to Koh Pangan. There are regular ferries to and from the main land as well as Koh Pangan and Koh Tao. Koh Samui also has an airport that has regular flights to and from Bangkok.
