I am intrigued by the whole buying food from street vendors in Thailand. I would like to know, 1 is it safe for the Western stomach, 2 is there anything to look for and 3 how much should someone pay for a general say Pad Thai? Cheers

Dude, it is well safe to eat from street vendors in Thailand. What you have to look for is the vendor cooking it in front of you. If the food looks fresh and you can see it being cooked then there is no problem. I think in terms of how much the food costs, I think you should expect to pay about 50 baht for a Pad Thai.
